Vince gave of his time to volunteer on our Board of Directors and since resigning from the Board Vince actively participated in our curling fundraiser. He is constantly giving back to our community. When we permanently moved to Canada in February 2019, we were very apprehensive as we had no clue on how the system worked, whom do we approach in terms of getting more information as new immigrants in Canada, etc. We discussed our concerns with one of our close friends who recommended we speak with Philip Lewis. We got in touch with Philip immediately and made an appointment to meet up with him. When we first met him, he came across as a very friendly and approachable person who made us feel very comfortable. We very vividly remember him telling us, "I am not here to sell anything but to understand your needs. Before that, I need to know if you are comfortable sharing with me." This helped us have an open dialogue with him. He provided very clear and detailed insights on what options were available to us as newcomers with young kids, importance of the right protection for us as a family and diversification of our portfolio in terms of availability of various investment options. Each topic was explained with utmost detail which made it easy for us to decide on the best investment/insurance plans suiting our current needs while keeping our long-term needs/goals in mind. He periodically updates us on the market trends, provides market highlights and does a regular financial health check.
On a personal front we and our kids enjoy spending time with him and his family who have always made us feel very welcoming.
